first_img By Jaine Treadwell The Coffee County Arts Alliance has finalized its calendar of events for the 2013-2014 performance season and it’s a great one, said Ginny Cannon, CCAA publicity chair.“We are very excited about our season this year,” Cannon said. “It reflects a lot of hard work by our selections committee, which works hard to bring diversity and artistic excellence each year. As you can see, we have really hit the mark this year.”The CCAA season kicks off Saturday night, with the Moonlighters Dinner and Dance at 6:30 p.m. at the Enterprise Civic Center. The Dallas Brass plays Dixieland, Swing, Pop and Folk music and folks can’t listen without tapping their toes and clapping their hands, Cannon said.The Dallas Brass concert will be at the EHS Performing Arts Center.The CCAA 2013-2014 will hit its grand finale with the Piney Woods Festival at Enterprise State Community College April 5 and 6.Cannon said the Festival will bring to a close one of the most exciting CCAA event calendars in a long time.“Thanks to the generosity and support of the community, CCAA is able to grow each year and continue to bring quality performances at an affordable price,” Cannon said.For more information or to purchase tickets, call 334-406-ARTS (2787).
