A total of 2081 houses were sold in the Cairns Regional Council area. The 600 properties were located in the suburbs from Machans Beach in the south to Palm Cove in the north. Kewarra Beach was the most popular beaches suburb with 128 houses sold. Ray White Cairns Beaches Principal Paul Stirling said Kewarra Beach currently had the most new homes available which has led to the popularity.
