Iowa Central won 25-13, 25-15, 23-25, 25-20.Iowa Central, which won the league with an 8-1 mark, will host the NJCAA Region XI-A tournament on Saturday and Sunday. NIACC, which placed second in the league with a 7-2 record, will host the NJCAA Region XI-B tournament this weekend.NIACC (30-9 overall) plays seventh-seeded Southeastern at 1 o’clock on Saturday afternoon in the NIACC gym. The NIACC women placed third at the Region XI meet back on Friday in Ottumwa, led by freshman Paula Jimenez, who was ninth in 18:54. The NIACC men moved up from 17th to 12th in the latest poll. Cloud County Community College of Kansas is first with Iowa Central ranked second. Iowa Western is fifth, Hawkeye Community College is 18th, Indian Hills is 20th and Southwestern is tied for 24th. NIACC placed third at the Region XI meet last Friday, with freshman Jorge Ruiz placing 11th to lead the Trojans.
