Five injured in Carson crash

first_imgCARSON – Five people were injured when their vehicle veered out of control and struck a light standard in Carson, a sheriff’s sergeant said today. The accident occurred on Main Street at Sepulveda Boulevard about 11 p.m. yesterday, said Sgt. Bryan Beardsley of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Carson Station. A Chevrolet Trailblazer was heading northbound on Main Street about 60 mph when it veered off the road and into the parking lot of a Home Depot, where the SUV struck a light standard, Beardsley said. 160Want local news?Sign up for the Localist and stay informed Something went wrong.
